PROJECTS

From object to architecture, Léonard Kadid’s studio explores the potentials of matter through precise and lasting compositions. The practice spans across product, lighting, furniture, and architecture, shaping all the elements that define our everyday life. Its body of work grows from an intuitive reading of contemporary society, always attentive to context and guided by a search for balance between materiality, simplicity, and utility. In 2022, Léonard Kadid received the French design award FD100 for his solid oak chair collection Pier. That same year, his lamp Möja entered the permanent collection of the Mobilier National. From 2022 to 2025, he has also been teaching an architecture studio at the École d’Architecture de Normandie in Rouen, alongside his professional practice.
