Landscape architecture BÖE Studio, Structure Pirmin Jung.
Through the repetition of a prefabricated timber structure, the new primary school embraces a terraced garden and preserves existing trees. At the northern end of the site, the new sports hall unfold its facades to provide shading, while maintaining the alignment with the adjacent facilities and the Vispa river. The elongated proportions of the school building and its curved shape harmoniously integrate the structure into the site and the topography. The shape and height make it possible to adapt to the neighboring residential buildings and at the same time limit the expansion of the campus and its impact on the new residential area.
